My hair stylist cut my hair wrong? How do I make it look more.. normal?

I told her I just wanted shorter layers so that the longer layers are more noticeable, but what she did is like an asian mullet, so I got really thin hair down and really short layers up. Now it looks kinda scene/anime or whatever. What should I do to make it more normal looking?
