Stepmother....opinions on this example?

She obviously either has some serious issues of insecurity or is a control freak. Possibly a lot of both but that is not your problem. ure your son that you and his dad both love him and he will see her for what she is on his own. Just try to be nice to her when in the presence of your kids and by all means do speak to your former husband about your concerns for your son but do it calmly and nicely. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding. Hold your wrath until you have ALL the facts dear. Be the bigger woman here and your son will see that you can be gracious and giving while still looking out for his best interests. You may be surprised how smart your son is about all this.
