A healthy kitten abandoned by her mother..?

well you should just leave food out and then go back inside and look from a window. if it gets too hungry it probably will eat it. when you go to place the food out try and go slowly. after a while it will get used to you bringing out the food.also when you go out to feed it try and have like a name so it will get used to it possibly and come when you call her/him. also the mom could have got ran over because i dont think she would be gone for so long without her kitten but then again maybe she trusted you with it or somthing...
