Computer internet connection?

my computer got 2 connection the local area connection that is working properly all ip addres and dns is automatically obtain but the other one the 1394 net adapter is not working no ip addres and dns even its automatically obtain when i repair the connection its says that the TCP/IP is not enabled for this connection so i enables the TCp/IP but still the same..what should i do? any tips? im using PLDT zyxelDSL P-600 series all lights are working properly..tnx
