Is it wrong to be gay?

my family is ok with me being gay but theres alot of poeple that say its wrong now i am bottom in it and i know im still knew at coming out im 24 and im still scared at what will poeple think i know the bottoms get put down more then if your top i have two friends and there gay the one that is top took crap for 6 months and the bottom has been taking crap for a year he gets eggs tossed at him and his car had fag painted on it i dont know how hes put up with it for so long i could not do it but my mom had said it will be hard but we will get thour it what im asking should i come out all the way and putt up with the name calling and all that crap or what
