I am suffering from GERD as diagnoised by my physician. The endoscopy showed LAX LES with small hiatal hernia

I am suffering from GERD as diagnoised by my physician. The endoscopy conducted showed LAX LES with small hiatal hernia. I have been taking essomeprazole 40 twice daily for last six months. I am completely on recomended diet, no non vez, no spices, no oilly food, no tomato and no chilly. But I am experiencing the reflux even when there is a slight irregularity in my daily routine.Very often I am experiencing belching hicca, though the fullness of throat, which I was experiencing beforehand, has been eradicated to a considerable extent. I am going to bed invariably two hours after I take my meal.How long shall I have to take medicine ? Is it GERD or something else.Kindly help.
