10 or 12 inch subwoofer?

Ok I listen to mostly rock and alternative, stuff like foo fighters smashing pumpkins rise against nickleback weezer linkin park ect. I also ocionaly listen to rap. So I'm buying either a 10 or 12 inch jl audio w3v3 and want to no which one will be better. I drive a 98 camry and am only getting 1 sub and running it on a alpine mrp500.
